Forklift Attachments

There are several attachments that can be fitted to a forklift that truly make them versatile tools. Below is a selection of some of the more common attachments found today.

Side Shifts

Side Shifts are one of the most commonly used forklift attachments in existence. They allow the operator to move a load from left to right slightly without having to re-position the forklift.
Side Shifts can be integral which doesn’t de-rate the forklifts lifting capacity or clip on which will de-rate the forklifts lifting capacity.

Fork Positioners

Fork Positioners allow you to move forks closer together or further apart without having to leave the forklift. Not only does this save the operator having to exert themselves, damage to any loads being handled (such as different sized pallets) will also be reduced.

Fork Extensions

Fork Extensions allow you to extend the useable length of your forks temporarily without having to purchase a larger set of forks or keep swapping forks over.

Rotators allow you to rotate the forklift’s forks by up to 360 degrees both safely and efficiently. They are mostly used in the manufacturing and food industry for dumping loads.

Bale Clamps

Bale Clamps allows your forklift to handle all types of baled products such as cotton, wool, paper etc without the need for palletizing materials.

Carpet Booms

A Carpet Boom (or carpet pole) allows you to use your forklift to carry rolled materials such as carpets or artificial grass safely. They are available in variants that can be mounted on the forklift carriage or mounted on the forks themselves.
